I would really, really like to know Assad’s motive for his alleged CW attack.
No motive at all that any thinking person can see. It was a False Flag, IMO.

Syria used planes in two waves, if the US is to be believed. The base we just attacked was the base the planes flew out of.
And my guess, is that if the US is lying about the Syrian planes flying, that other nations would be calling us out on it.
When it involves Syrians planes, I don’t see how it could be a false flag.
It might have been a Syrian test of US resolve. It might have even been a Russian test of US resolve. But it wasn’t wasn’t ISIS, or the US, or anyone else flying those Syrian planes.
