The U.S. military has launched more than 50 missiles aimed at Syria, NBC News reported.
A U.S. military official told NBC that 59 tomahawks had been fired, which hit an airfield near Homs.

Assad has basically been a problem only to Israel but was handled well. He is preferable to any replacement.

This attack probably didn’t even kill anyone since the Russians were warned and you know they told the Syrians. Now some come have been left as sacrificial lambs.

This seems to have been written before the attacks but other than an apparently wrong guess about what Trump would do, I think the reasoning is better than that of anyone else out there, excepting maybe Trump. Trump knows.
Prove that the bomb dropped by the Syrian AF was a chemical weapon rather than a conventional bomb that hit a Jihadi chemical armory.

Only problem is that Saddam did have the chemical weapons and had used them on the Kurds. Thousands of sarin filled warheads were removed after the invasion. He had an entire nuclear weapons research facility in Libya of which the CIA had no clue.
When the Colonel surrendered all his WMDs they gave this material to the US.

It appears that our vaunted intel community may not be all that good. That seems like a good reason to not act precipitously on their initial assessments in places like Syria to me.
Truman said creating the CIA was the worst mistake he made as president, I can’t argue with that.
