They do have power to arrest and hold people, they just don't. They have serious power they don't use including power over all Federal Courts which they don't use so don't try to alibi all their ducking of issues.
Of course there is no guarantee that they even know their real power since they never use it.
Truthfully not surprising since no one can seem to find any law that all those Sanctuary mayors and governors are breaking, not even the Attorney General.
We shall see Rita. I am impressed by Gowdy as much as anyon, I even watch his YouTube Clips, but they have produced nothing but campaign sound bytes not unlike Linda Graham who once looked just as tough when he prosecuted the Clinton impeachment. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

These sanctuary govs and mayors are proving the point that we need less fed govt and more State local govt.
Rather ironic if you consider that last 20 yrs has been about expanding fed not shrinking.
The House Ethnics Committee won’t do dick about Schiff.
They at least prove that he can bring illegals into their state and force taxpayers to pay for it. It cost about $12.000.00 a year to school an illegal and the local property owners bear the brunt of that cost. That is about the same cost as good healthcare plan. Pick wisely.

Leftists don’t see themselves as criminals at all - in their gut they are fighting “the good fight” - their goal is extreme government redistribution and they believe it to be the noblist of causes, and that the end justifies the means.
They see themselves as guerrilla warriors and clever robin hoods. When they lie, cheat, steal and commit character assassination, their consciences are clear because they believe it is for the good of mankind and that they are heroes. They see us as the criminals for resisting their socialist agenda.
I think their defect is not immorality as much as it is stupidity and naiveté. They don’t understand how the real world works, they don’t understand game theory, they don’t understand economics, they don’t understand human nature. Dynamics such as supply and demand, competitive pricing, liberty - are lost on them. They don’t understand the law of unintended consequences.
They don’t understand. Period.
All lessons are totally lost on them.
