From Rush there is still 30 hours allowed for filibuster. That is why the vote to confirm Gorsuch will not take place until late on Friday.

From Rush there is still 30 hours allowed for filibuster.

They also changed the debate time from 30 hours down to 8 hours.

The 30 hours is not considered a filibuster. Both parties get to debate for a maximum of 30 hours. The 8 hours apply for the next one.
