There were several articles yesterday reporting that McCain supported it.
Were they wrong or is McIdiot losing it?

I had heard he came out in support.

All I can say is that McConnell had better get out the baseball bat & start breaking arms of any Repubs who are going squishy & get them on board quickly. If Gorsuch is NOT confirmed, then the Repubs might as well pack their suitcases and head on home. The MINORITY Dems will have totally routed & humiliated the Repubs again, but this time it will be a loss from which they will not recover, & Trump won’t be able to get anything done. When they get home, they should be met with pitchforks, tar & feathers.

Notice the wording...
“make the senate better”.
I would tend to agree going nuclear does not make the senate ‘better’.
Who cares, the democrats brought this on themselves.
Best election ever!!!

I don’t believe the reporter was quoting what any other Senator actually said. Probably a Fake Question.

BUT there’s a difference between a) supporting it under the circumstances and b) saying that anyone who says it will ultimately benefit the Senate is a numbskull or ‘stupid idiot.’

No one would have supported this rules change had the Dems not decided to filibuster an eminently qualified judge to be an Associate Justice. The Rs were pushed into something no one wanted ... except the numbskull who said, if in fact anyone did say, that it would be better for the Senate.
