Imagine the consequences if the North Korean lunacy really does spill over into a nuclear attack that could have been avoided, by simply showing our President the modicum of respect that in the past has always been due to the office--even when held by a far less dedicated individual. Or will anyone suggest that this endless barrage from the Left does not hurt the President's ability to deal effectively with other nations?
Rush doing a great job today with Daniel Greenfield’s article about the US already being in a Civil War, and the fact that the Left does not accept ANY of the republican (small r) processes by which a society can exist.
He goes on to say, in fact, they are aside from explosions, very much like radical Islamic terrorists.
BTW, you may have this a little backward. It’s not that Trump “doesn’t get distracted” by these. I honestly think that he PURPOSEFULLY nudges and encourages these snipe hunts so that they leave his real agenda alone, which seems to be working well.
The perspective & focus has to shift with the particular issue & audience.
May God forgive me for any time I have "ridiculed" a current President of our United States of America.
That is a possibility to consider in light of the Rice revelations. There was heavy foreign influence on this election. It seems to be centered in Fiji now.
With Trumptowergate, Ricegate, and all their bs being exposed, their paid trolls mediots are going Kamikazi!
Who/whatever controls them is acting like the Japanese Navy at the end of WWII. They know that they are losing big time, and they are sacrifising their Kamakazi trolls and mediots to delay more Trump victories.
That didn't work then and will not work now.
“Shakeup”? Really?
Reorganizing.

Good analogy ! What we appear to be witnessing is their last goodbyes.
Thanks, LS!
“neocon? Hes a democrat.”
Same thing. Always has been. They just wear a Republican costume when it suits them.
exhibit: Charles Krauthammer, anti-Reagan speechwriter for Mondale. Now masquerades as a Republican “conservative”
some are the usual Glenn Beck/Mark Levin fanboys, always looking for a chance to throw mud at Trump
McMaster and Mattis are hardly GOPe.
Good to know.

RUSH: Folks, Im gonna tell you something. I was chatting with a friend last night. I think that there is a very simple and I alluded to it yesterday. I think theres a very simple explanation for a lot of this coverage, and it is that Trump is kicking butt. We just had the jobs report came out. Its being buried today by this other news. But there are more substantive, real, wage-paying jobs in manufacturing and mining and other things. Its the greatest jobs report for this category in years, and its way above everybodys expectations.
The economys chugging along. One poll has Trumps approval number back up to 46 from the thirties. I went through the list of things earlier this week; all of the Obama administration regulations and executive orders that he implemented that are being unraveled and unwound. I think the mistake people make I was talking to another friend of mine whos been really down, the guy I told you is constantly complaining because tax cuts arent happening, and hes thinking Trump sold out.
I said, You realize youre making a critical mistake here in the way youre looking at this? You are associating Trump with the Republican Party, and thats the mistake youre making. The Republican may be not doing things. They may not getting health care done. They may be dragging their feet on tax cuts. But dont lay that off on Trump. You have to separate Trump from the Republican Party. But Rush, you cant! He ran as a Republican and hes working with them. I understand that.
But the things that Trump can do on his own that he is doing are numerous and they are substantive, and he is seriously unwinding and unraveling much of what Obama implemented. And hes done a tremendous amount. I think Trump is having a phenomenal record or level of achievement here. Youre just not seeing it reported on. That one little AP story that listed some of these things had to be one of the hardest things for them to write. I know it may be difficult to separate Trump from the Republicans. But Im telling you: The Republicans can have a bad day when Trumps having a good one.
The Republicans can have a bad week when Trump is having a good one. And, my friend said, You know what? Youre right! I was making that mistake. When the Republicans dont do tax cuts, Im saying, Trumps a failure.’ Its too early to say that. The things Trump can do Look at the end run. Hes had two extra-legal rulings on his travel ban, preventing them. So hes found ways around this that are even more effective in vetting bad actors than the travel bans would have been. So hes finding a way around all of the obstacles the Democrats are putting up, of things he can control.
Now, Trump cannot mandate tax law. But of the things Obama implemented via executive order, Trump can strip em away and do away with em, and hes doing it. Like at the EPA and any number of other places. His budget considered to be dead on arrival in Washington is nevertheless a blueprint of what hes thinking of doing. And I think theres also this factor, that we havent seen in our lifetimes a president under this kind of assault all day, every day, 24/7. We havent seen it, and it does not appear to be souring Trump or altering his daily approach to his job!
