For decades Barry Manilow gave the world timeless hits, while keeping his own world a total secret. Now at 73 years old, the music legend is opening up about his life, struggles and, for the first time, his sexuality.

Elton John’s career pretty much tanked after he came out as “bisexual”. (Back then it was safer than saying you were gay).
Maybe now we can get that long-awaited duet with Johnny Mathis.
true, except Liberace flaunted it in spectacular style
Now this is just weird. I posted this about a half hour ago, got one response from Laz responded to that and then it vanished. Musta been sumfin’ we said. LOL!
Whoda thunk it!
One of my best friends (female) used to date a male ice dancer. For years the hockey players at his rink mocked him and his shiny outfits, etc. He used to turn it all around by being extremely popular with the beautiful ladies in his sport because he was straight! And he’d tell the hockey players, “Look who YOURE skating with, and look who I am skating with!” And he was QUITE the heterosexual!
Not Harry Bangalow!!!!
EJ is bisexual as was Freddy Mercury
Or Mandy Patinkin.
Dang
Still laughing
Picturing Barry crooning into his Vegas audience with Mandy Patinkin in the front row looking up at him with that expression he always has on Homeland.
I’m going to laugh all day now
His audience is middle aged women. Probably Republican. LIberals ALWAYS underestimate our beliefs and morals and our ability to live and let live. Nobody cares and EVERYONE knew.
Both admitted to being attracted to women and men.
Searching for love in all the wrong places. Barry, now is not the time. That time has passed. To reveal this now only makes you seem desperate. Akin to standing under a street lamp attempting to make a few bucks
Freddie did have a girlfriend for awhile, and I think he did really love her.
I think Elton had “beards”, even married one in the 80s.
“”makes no sense....... all his fans are gay””
What a stupid comment! I have enjoyed his songs for over 50 years - a female in my 8th decade now and I’m certainly not part of that world...He writes absolutely beautiful songs.
Ironically, he did not write, “I Write the Songs.”
Still have to laugh at the guys who sang “Mandy” to their girlfriends while drunk in the stands at the high school homecoming game.
Just curious— is your 62 yr old brother still an active flight attendant?
don’t be all butt hurt....... it was an attempt at humor whilst drinking my coffee
