I am not so positive about the economy. I have been out of work since fFebruary when the company I worked for folded. I have been applying like mad, but nothing is available for an experienced logistics coordinator. Tried applying in other fields too, but no wants me there either. Even tried McDonalds bto have something and was rejected.

0bama has damaged us beyond repair

You’ve been applying for a whole month and a half?! My God...that’s 6 weeks!.....45 days!!! Its a depression I tell ya!!

I think you are running into the same problem I am. People want exact fits when filling jobs (not too much, not too little) because loyalties are in the dumper. Don’t waste half a year training in the near-fit who might be adios in another couple of years.

This trend looks fair to reverse, but right now people are still testing the water with their toes.

Sorry to hear that. Hang in there.

Have you looked into the gig economy (i.e. where you provide services on a freelance or contract basis)?

I have done that and it is growing much faster than standard employment.
