Excellent question: “What is the answer to this dilemma?”

The answer should be: “We go out and form alternatives to universities.”

But the problem with this answer is that the government is sponsoring the current deficiencies of our academic institutions. How then would the alternatives compete?

Truly, the only thing worse than an unfunded government mandate is a funded government mandate.

I would like to see the Trump administration stop funding universities where scandalous anti-American courses are taught, but it’s hard to see how they can do that other than just say “no” and not say why. The Ivies are all incredibly rich from endowments and should not need endless amounts of taxpayer funds for research. But unless the withdrawal of funds can be perceived as a punishment, the steady stream of indoctrination is unlikely to change.

If the Obama administration could force Common Core through the K-12 schools, why could not a course of traditional American history and civics be required? Right now textbooks are being written and supplied through Islamist channels.
