I don’t like thunder storms (usually includes lightening, too). We don’t have them often, but do now and then in the summer. When I was young and we lived in Lake Charles, LA, we used to have them and my mom was afraid of them. She used to take me and we’d sit in the middle of her bed and she’d read to me. I remember her saying that when she was young and living in MT lightening hit their house, so I think that’s why she was so afraid. We used to have a little Pekinese (rescue dog) in Denver and he hated them - he’d shake like crazy and want us to hold him.

This time of year we usually have thunderstorms and lots of lightning. It's the hail and tornadoes that I fear. I have a healthy respect for all of it and avoid being out and about.

Some dogs are so sensitive to thunder...poor pups.
