If Trump knew about it since January then he knew about it before the Mike Flynn debacle unflolded. This may have been the real reason Flynn resigned. He is now a private citizen and a crime victim ... which means he has every right to pursue every legal avenue against those criminals.

Weasel word lawyer speak... He didn’t say “ nothing the committee or the president should have been briefed on” which has a whole different meaning.

The electronic surveillance statute provide Flynn with a civil cause of action including actual damages, statutory damages, punitive damages and legal fees against the individuals as individuals (not just against the government). It is the legal fees that will ruin these folks (both his and their own).
