Obama spying looks even worse than Trump claimed Intel source bombshell
WND ^ | March 31, 2017 | Garth Kant

The spying by the Obama administration on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump reportedly was even worse than what he has alleged.

And it had nothing to do with Russia but everything to do with politics.

Sources in the intelligence community claim the potentially illegal revealing of names, or unmasking, of people in the Trump camp who were under surveillance was done purely “for political purposes” to “hurt and embarrass (candidate) Trump and his team.”

The bombshell revelations come from rank and file members of the intelligence community who are fighting back against a stonewall by the leaders at the nation’s spy agencies, according to Fox News.

Reporter Adam Housley said the sources are “not Trump” people but are “frustrated with the politics that is taking place in these (intelligence) agencies.”

And what they have revealed is amazing. Here is what they told Fox:

1) Surveillance targeting the Trump team during the Obama administration began months ago, even before the president had become the GOP nominee in July.

2) The spying on the Trump team had nothing to do with the collection of foreign intelligence or an investigation into Russia election interference.

3) The spying was done purely “for political purposes” that “have nothing to do with national security and everything to do with hurting and embarrassing Trump and his team.”

4) The person who did the unmasking was someone “very well known, very high up, very senior in the intelligence world, and is not in the FBI.”

5) Congressional investigators know the name of at least one person who was unmasking names.

6) The initial surveillance on the Trump team led to “a number of names” being unmasked.

But nothing will be done to the person who perpetrated all this spying. He will go scott-free. So why bring it up. He will just continue his fabulous vacation in Samoa.

Otherwise, we would be hearing something of substance from Schiff now that he has seen the subject intel.

As was said by some here last night, "If the facts are on your side, you fight with facts. If the facts aren't on your side, you argue process issues." Following the few but important cues that are available right now from Schiff, it's clear the facts ain't on his side.....

As I’ve said: Nixon had an enemies list ... the Clintons and Obama have used theirs.

Who has the capability of bringing criminal charges and arresting the criminals in these kinds of circumstances?

Shifty Schiff said that the rest of the Intel cmte needs to see the documents after he saw what Nunes saw at the WH. That was the only access point like the story describes and Trump staffers ousted by the NYT are not the source whistleblower but rather the guys who got him I. The room.

My question is this Gang Of 8, of House and Senate have the classified authorization level to see this stuff which Nunes and Sciff belong. Does the rest of the Nunes cmte have that clearance? Schiff might be saying let the cmte see this when he knows they cannot. Then he will drone on and on about not forthcoming blah blah.

The public needs to see this and soon as Nunes takes a credibility hit everyday the truth is bottled up. Or do they call Clapper, Brennon, Lynch, Comey, Rice, and Jarret and then nail them on our jury. HS to be closed door, as they can lie and say nothing hpoened in public hearing s public is not authorized to know bout this stuff. Kind of a Catch-22.

He can’t stay there forever.

I beg to differ, i’m sure he stole or received enough kickbacks that yes he could stay there forever.

This news is very eye opening to just who the communists Democrats and how crooked Obama was and still is. What bothers me nothing is being done to start real investigations by the Republicans and soon after jail time.

I am so damn sick of “bombshells” and “sources”. Everybody just wants hits on their websites. It’s time they put up or shut up.

Prior to viewing the evidence on Thursday, IRRC, Schiff was all arrogance and bluster. Shortly after seeing it he was stopped by a reporter, and he looked sheepish and had nothing to say.

That a paraphrase of the old legal adage:
"If the law is on your side, argue the law. If the facts are one your side, argue the facts. If neither the law nor the facts are on your side, attack the opposing counsel."
Schiff is actually attacking opposing counsel instead of process.

Really, you don't think that Trump realizes this: Trump needs to fully realize the media does not report bad stories about democrats.

Doesn't he use Twitter to reach his voters instead of trying to use the MSM?

1) Surveillance targeting the Trump team during the Obama administration began months ago, even before the president had become the GOP nominee in July.

3) The spying was done purely “for political purposes” that “have nothing to do with national security and everything to do with hurting and embarrassing Trump and his team.”

At this point, the Dems didn't know or probably didn't think Trump would be the nominee. And this was done "for political purposes."

Wouldn't it seem reasonable that other or all the Republican candidates were spied on? Wouldn't they want to embarrass any candidate & spy on all or many of the candidates to gather this information? In July Trump was a "joke" candidate, so wouldn't it make sense that they spied on Rubio, Bush... and the other "likely" candidates?

The timeline:

3-4-17 PDJT tweets “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped” in Trump Towers just before the victory”.

3-13-17 Obama pays surprise visit to Honolulu, then on to Fiji. Has not been on American soil since.

“Bombshell”. I’ll add it to the pile, none of which have yet to actually go off.
