As things stand right now:
Trump is siding 100% with Ryan and the GOP establishment on health care and has stated his intention to fight and defeat members of the HFC in the next election.
How is the HFC supposed to do lead on legislative initiatives (make Ryan bring...) under those circumstances?
Then let Ryancare pass and make Trump do Phase 2.
Ryancare will allow front-loading of savings to help with early tax cuts. Once employment and investment pick up, Phase 3 should be easier to do.
“Trump is siding 100% with Ryan”
“Whoever Trump is listening to right now needs to be neutralized”
“Trump is not up for re-election in 2018”
Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump...
I’ve got news for you. Until Congress sends a bill to his desk, there is nothing that Trump can do about it.
So stop whining. If the Freedom Caucus has the balls to pass a clean repeal, nobody is stopping them.
Let him have the Ryancare crap sandwich and let's see how he leverages it.
Since the leaders of the HFC have ALREADY spent hours negotiating with President Trump, how is it even possible that the HFC has NOT presented its “initiatives” already?
What IS possible (and highly likely, IMHO) is that the HFC has refused to define those “initiatives” in a single WRITTEN document that the HFC agree to support. Answer me this: If the 30 HFC members cannot agree on ONE bill, how can anyone take them seriously?
Some politicians say that “Indecisiveness is the KEY to flexibility!”
I say that American patriots have had enough of that.
