This is passive-aggressive sexual harassment from the top down. Because if you see something and are 'dumb' enough to say something, or you merely wish to go about your work day in peace without celebrating perversity, there goes your career and your reputation. It creates the very definition of hostile work environment.

When this stuff was kept in the closet, it was axiomatic that only those few with a stable, professional temperament [capable of keeping their predilections in the closet] who could peacefully coexist without causing problems.
