The only way we are going to reduce CO2 is to grow more trees with a high amount of Rubisco. Such are the Common Horse-chestnut, Black Walnut, American Sweetgum, Ponderosa Pine, Red Pine, White Pine, London Plane, Hispaniolan Pine, Douglas Fir, Scarlet Oak, Red Oak, Virginia Live Oak and Bald CypressAnother. These are good carbon sinks. Another, is is to add micrometre-sized iron particles in the form of either hematite (iron oxide) or melanterite (iron sulfate) to certain regions of the ocean. Iron is an important nutrient for phytoplankton, and adding it will promote the growth of plankton, a major biological sink for CO2.

The average level of CO2 in the atmosphere is about 396 parts per million, or about 118 parts per million over pre-industrial times. If the level decreases below 200 ppm our agriculture falters. So, we have to be careful how much CO2 is sequestered.

Global cooling is far more concerning and the only solution is to give me a multi-million dollar research budget.

Climate change is real, is largely the result of human activity, and is affecting our health now. ACP is very concerned about the harmful health effects that climate change is having on our patients,” continued Dr. Damle.

I thought that doctors used the scientific method. What a disappointment to find that Dr. Damle gets his information from unreliable sources such as CNN.

It is true that climate change is real in the sense that it has been going on for millions of years. It is NOT true that it is largely the result of human activity, that is, the science is FAR from settled!

I would hope that highly educated people like doctors, would take more time to study the real science before plunging ahead full steam and making false claims and foolishly taking action. Only charlatans do that!

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

“how do people survive the climate change when they move from New York to Miami?”

I'm what some call "elderly" - I'm retired. I just moved from Michigan to south Texas where I've experienced an average annual temperature increase of about 24 degrees F. I'm doing quite well, thank you.

Questions for climate change morons:

What is the optimum rainfall for Topeka, Kansas, in May and how do we achieve it?

How much sunshine and cloud cover is ideal for Waupaca, Wisconsin, in the first week of April, and why?

How do we turn off excessive snowfall for Buffalo, New York, and why is it excessive?

Effn “A” climate change is real. It just changed while I typed that.

What a bunch of wacko idiots.

I wonder what these dumb bastards say about the federal government burning slash from logging operations around Flagstaff AZ? Or slash burning across all federal lands?

Oh you should see the glee in these freaks eyes when they go out to light those slash piles on fire. No reason for it at all. They promply light them up and burn every GD tree around them.

The paper cited higher rates of respiratory and heat-related illnesses, increased prevalence of diseases passed by insects, water-borne diseases, food and water insecurity and malnutrition, and behavioral health problems as potential health effects of climate change. The elderly, the sick, and the poor are especially vulnerable.

We could easily change that to read, "Due to the upcoming Dalton-like Minimum, there will be higher rates of respiratory and cold-related illnesses, increase prevalence of hypothermia, increase prevalence of animal attacks by critters looking for warmth, water-borne diseases due to increased water main breaks, food and water insecurity and malnutrition, and behavioral health problems -- e.g., cannibalism by starving, cold people and killing of infants -- as potential health effects of global cooling. The elderly, the sick and the poor are especially vulnerable."

Trump's actions are actually helping to ward off such a disaster.

I get kind of a queasy feeling thinking that a physician might be dumb enough to fall for such shoddy #FakeScience as Global Warming.
