I am professional engineer, work in an environment in which 95% of my coworkers and clients are men. I am married. I absolutely do not go out to lunch, dinner or for drinks with only a single male colleague. In my younger years I suppose I was considered “hot” because I got hit on a lot. It was always very awkward and I finally got fed up for good. My “no lunches/dinners for two” policy with male colleagues has served me well for the last 25 plus years.
I think it’s fabulous that the FemiNazis are in a nasty Twitter uproar about Mike Pence’s happy marriage. The opposite of a feminist: a happily married woman.
When I worked for IBM, company policy was that if a male manager was meeting with a female colleague in his office, he always had to keep the door open. Same with female managers meeting with male colleagues.
Of course, in this insane culture of LGBTQ-E-I-E-I-O, this good policy has probably been shredded. Why? Let me guess: it assumes heterosexuality and is therefore offensive to the tiny percent who don’t know what the h*ll their gender or sex habits are.
“The opposite of a feminist: a happily married woman.”
Limbaugh put out a list of reasons for feminism. For me, the most significant is to turn women into things that cannot become good wives.
