Which is to say I never meet with anyone behind a closed door unless it’s a group.

Many years ago, I had a job which required sometimes lengthy conversations in my office with young men and women. If any woman closed the door upon entering my office, my secretary immediately got up from her desk and opened the door. I didn’t fully appreciate what she did until many years later.
