Guys, Ryan was formally elected the Speaker of the House in the election that happened on January 3, 2017. He won 239 votes versus 189 for Nancy, with 433 total votes.

It would appear the House Freedom Caucus cast votes for Ryan which were not needed, as Ryan won by 60 votes over Pelosi, who had the second highest number.
