The pulling of the GOP health-care bill this week was a big loss, and perhaps significant beyond its own costs, as it may signal that the Area 51 sub-caucus within the Freedom Caucus is made up not so much of conservative Republicans as parties of one with no interest in an agenda shared beyond whatever exists in the space between their own ears.

This was an early salvo in the war on conservatives, equating those who opposed the Ryan Care bill with Area 51 believing crackpots.
I heard Hewitt using this term on a radio broadcast on his show of some TV panel he was on with Tom Brokaw and other liberals where he was calling them Area 51 caucus.
Hewitt is a point man in shaping the public message of the GOPe and telegraphic their strategy.
Republicans are now calling other Republicans looney tune crazies because they were against the health bill.
Sheesh.
What are you talking about?
Always remember that Hewitt has been a Cheap Labor Express Republican for a very long time. His ideal President would have been Romney.

Sorry. I should have pointed out that you had to read deep into the first sentence to find this doomsday gem.
Hewitt always defends the Establishment. How many times did he say Trump couldn’t win?
Ok. You were responding to Hewitt’s op-Ed.
It seemed you were complaining about pointing out Hewitt’s idiocy. It wasn’t clear.
Ah. A simple misunderstanding.
HuGH Hewitt (Hearted) aRnie.. nuff said.

Eventually, Trump (and we supporters) are going to figure out that Trump is going to get the business so hard that he will not be able to “execute”.
The media, the Republican Party, the Democrat Party, every institution in the Intelligence Community, the Judicial Branch have no interest in seeing Trump function.
Trump is to be tied up in the courts on his Executive Orders, and as for Trump’s Campaign promises ever turning into Legislation, Ryan and McConnell can drive slow or ignore consideration for every Campaign promise Trump ever made.
At the moment it looks pretty scary for how he is even able to function, let alone succeed.
“His ideal President would have been Romney.”
So much so that he wrote a book about it.
