Trump should look to the Freedom Caucus for guidance. They have been trying to drain the swamp too. He’s going after the wrong folks.
My congressman is part of the Freedom Caucus. He has my support come re-election because he has a proven track record. Trump is still in the evaluation period to me. He’s done some good stuff so far, but will lose my support if he attacks the good guys. The FC wasn’t even part of the original discussion on the Ryancare bill. Why was that?
You do realize most of the Ryancare bill was voted on in Jan of 2016? There weren’t many changes since then? The Senate passed it, too, in Dec 2015, and was able to do so because it conformed to Reconciliation rules.
Here’s the reality:
Y’all don’t want to legislate. You want to chant slogans.
Period. That’s the situation. You don’t want to do anything other than chant slogans. You know you can’t get what you want. You KNOW this. But you don’t need to get what you want. You can chant slogans even if you get nothing.
