And I comment with the same comment: Why is that child in public school? Why is any child in public school? Everyone has reasons, I suppose, depending on what is more important than one’s children and works out usually to well, it is more convenient to turn them over to the State for most of the day.

Because many people think that this stuff happens at "other schools", and that their own neighborhood school is just fine. I have never been able to understand conservative and/or Christian support for government schooling, other than sheer ignorance or (as described above) folly. Try to find a pastor who advocates for withdrawal from these pagan academies. Many of their wives work in the system. Many of the folks in the pews work in the system. Think of the impact on children if these well-intentioned education professionals used their skills in a private Christian or homeschool environment.
