The Gang of Eight is a colloquial term for a set of eight leaders within the United States Congress who are briefed on classified intelligence matters by the executive branch. Specifically, the Gang of Eight includes the leaders of each of the two parties from both the Senate and House of Representatives, and the chairs and ranking minority members of both the Senate Committee and House Committee for intelligence as set forth by 50 U.S.C. § 413(b).
The President of the United States is required by 50 U.S.C. § 413(a)(1) to "ensure that the congressional intelligence committees are kept fully and currently informed of the intelligence activities of the United States." However, under 50 U.S.C. § 413(b)(c2), the President may elect to report instead to the Gang of Eight under "extraordinary circumstances", when the President thinks "it is essential to limit access" to information about a covert action.
The individuals are sworn to secrecy and there is no vote process.
In the spring of 2013, the intelligence "Gang of Eight" was often confused with the immigration "Gang of Eight".

The first obvious thing to me is Nunes is not permitted nor entitled to tell others what he saw and who he saw.
Nunes briefing was as official as it gets without being acknowledged. Nunes did not meet with a whistleblower or informant. I believe it was an official brief of a nature too sensitive and was done to give guidance for the direction the house intelligence committee should go.
^5 Good job!!!
No Matter what Nunnes never gives up his whitleblower
Yes, and Schiff won’t look at it, because he will no longer be able to keep up the fake outrage and false narrative.
Sen Burr and Sen Warner just spoke as reps from the Senate Intelligence. Are these two Sen part of the gang of eight?
Well? Who are the gang of 8?
Won’t or can’t? He can, right?
yes. Chairman and ranking member of intelligent commitees of both Senate and House, Speaker and Minority Leader in House, Senate Majority Leader and senate Minority Leader make gang of 8.
Both Burr and Warner are gang of 8.
Here’s a link to their names and pics. Nunes might be the only reliable one of the lot:

In the Senate, that includes Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, and the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Intelligence committee, Republican Sen. Richard Burr and Democrat Mark Warner respectively. The House members included House Speaker Paul Ryan, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes and House Intelligence Ranking Member Adam Schiff.
Thanks.
Correct, he’s one of the 8, so he can but he won’t. This guy was the biggest defender of Hillary didn’t did anything wrong, in regards to her server/classified info.
Ryan and Intelligence.
One of these words doesn’t belong with the other.
Everyone of the RATS is a hard core hatchet man.
Other than Nunes, its all just standard clueless GOP-e
If the information is classified....he can’t
If the intelligent heads come to the committee in pro aye session they can brief the committee
