The Wall will never be built, put the Hopium Pipe down and get over it.
If you think for one second we are going to end the war on drugs by putting up a wall and winning, you are just plain stupid. 2 out o3 Government Jobs across this country depend on the War on Drugs for their Jobs and Lively hood. Police, Fire, Judges, Lawyers, Prisons, guards, Probation, Parole,... the list is endless.
Also, if you think for one second we are going to just dismantle the Police State we have spent 45 years creating, you too are just plain stupid.
We need the War on Drugs more than anything you could ever imagine, and there is NO WAY IN HELL we will put up a Wall and WIN!!!
I disagree.
Build the wall. Every foot of it.
What a defeatist attitude. If the war on drugs is really a way to fill our privatized prisons, then we need to let a few prisons go bk. And I doubt 2 of 3 jobs in govt depend of the phony war on drugs. If it’s true then the wall serves several purposes.
Supporting the war on drugs got us a full-spectrum Orwell style surveillance and police state while making zero positive impact on rates of drug use.
At this point, one has to have a hole in their head to want to continue the madness; if not through being appalled at all the senseless violence, at least through the self-interest of not wanting to pay for it.
I agree. But you won’t find many others here that will
Most drugs are smuggled in via ships, planes and tunnels. The wall won’t make much of a difference in that regard, but as you sound particularly negative, don’t let those facts slow you down.
The Rio G. with crocodile? How about observation towers equipped with those 60 kilowatt lasers from Lockheed?
Out comes the hookah smoking caterpillar to rail against the war on drugs.
1) There will be a wall. A physical wall. They are all over the globe.
2) Whatever it has to do with stopping the drug trade, the main, overwhelming purpose of the wall is to stop illegal immigrants.
