• The "father" abandoned his family in Guatemala when the son was 4 years old and came to the US illegally
• The "father" is fairly well-to-do. He could have paid to have his son brought to the US from Guatemala (question: if his son was escaping gang violence, why did his "father" let his son make the dangerous trek all the way from Guatemala through Mexico to the US border - especially if he had money?)
• The "father" paid for his son's first-class ticket from Texas to BWI airport (Maryland).
