Trump supports the tenants of BOCare, which is why he campaigned on “repeal and REPLACE.” Never just repeal.
I still want him to succeed, but he’s a NY Liberal at heart.

That's why I think it's very possible for him to go after dems to help with other legislation. We're going to get a crappy tax bill. and crappy immigration. and crappy budgets. Maybe not full crappy but certainly not ideal if there isn't big compromise all around.

If the sides don't get together, we either get nothing done because moderate and conservatives don't agree. Or Trump dumps the conservatives and gets a few dems. He can't dump the moderates because there are no alternatives.
At some point the moderates and conservatives are going to need to work together. My hope for Trump was that he's the one to make it happen. Hopefully he did learn from the insurance debacle because it doesn't seem like congress learned anything.

If he puts forth a bill that does not only do what he said he would do but what the American people want, then I will jump on the “hope” wagon with you.

I like Trump, don’t get me wrong. But I like a conservative America more. Let’s pass what makes sense and force a change to what doesn’t.
