“If we God-fearing defenders of Constitution and Liberty join in with those who would knowingly pass unconstitutional laws for political expedience, ie, helping Trump move his agenda which is otherwise very good, then we’ve unwittingly shot ourselves in the foot and opened the doors to both political parties to destroy whatever is left of our Constitution and our Liberty.”

Amen!

Well, based on his teachings in the NT, Jesus would tell us to make sure the least of our brothers have healthcare coverage.

They already had it in the form of emergency room and clinic services. There is nothing in the Bible about making people pay for an insurance policy.

You could be right. I’m just disappointed that even though it seems like with have the majority on the federal and state level, we really don’t.

Fixing what’s wrong in our government is going to be an uphill battle for the foreseeable future. Winning an election is great, but the battle is just getting started.

but the law hardly matters any longer.

The Constitution doesn't matter anymore they only pull it out if they want to screw us over again. One day we will have to recognize that we have arrived to this point under a duly elected Constitutional Government and the Constitution did not protect us, from the crooks we elected.

I am a long-time lurker who finally decloaked after reading Jim's magnificent post.

Indeed, we spent the past eight years evincing that we ARE more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable. But, enough already! Now is not the time for unforced errors.

And so, having re-read Jim's AND USC's post, I feel compelled to applaud.

Bravo!

First, glad you de-cloaked and posted. It gives me comfort knowing that there are more like you (and I...) who still read FR even though they may not post. The first purpose of my post was simply to commend Jim for what I personally found to be a well thought out, reasoned and impassioned expression of the frustration many feel. I have no doubt that Jim not only spoke for me, he spoke for many, many others.

The second purpose of my post was to point out the damage Blowbamacare is doing to health care in this country, and to people like Jim and I.

While my condition is nowhere near Jim's, I've been doing downhill for quite awhile and I'm likely going to be determined to be disabled in the next year.

Those who are healthy (now ....) are likely not going to feel the effects of Blowbamacare and the GOP's failed effort under Lyin' Paul Ryan other than in their wallet and/or payroll deductions for their employer sponsored healthcare. Even then, some may not notice it because they don't need their healthcare, don't use it, and don't (yet) realize what's happened to their coverage. So many are paying so much more, for much less coverage and don't know it yet.

I know it, because I rely on, and need that coverage. Well, I can't rely on it anymore. If I had my way, I'd stop paying for my healthcare coverage and get back the $450/month that I pay and use it to pay for the costs my insurance DOES NOT pay for because I haven't met an excessive deductible.

Financially, I'm so much worse off now than I was a year ago thanks to the Blowbamacare regulations that have kicked in and impacted those of us on private healthcare insurance.

So in sharing my story, I'm simply trying to expose what's really happening in the private sector and how the failure to repeal Blowbamacare isn't just hurting those who are on it, it's hurting those of us with employer sponsored healthcare also.

It's no coincidence, it's by design. All to collapse the healthcare system both public and private and force us into single payer where people like Jim and I will be pushed off into a corner, ignored, and left to die.

Yes, I said it: left to die.

Those of us who are chronically ill through no fault of our own, have special needs or have special needs children and more have been "marked for death" in my opinion.

Eugenics, anyone? Yes, it's happening. Death Panels by any other name are still Death Panels and they do in fact exist. Those of us who are being denied coverage THAT WE PAY FOR and are increasingly being told that our insurance plan no longer covers our medications and we're on our own to figure out how to get them know it.

Those Death Panels are much more obtuse and difficult to see than Sarah Palin once described, but they're there nonetheless. They exist in Corporate Benefit Administration departments and Health Care "Consulting" and "Wellness" programs. They exist in the Federal Government writing cryptic regulations that mean whatever some federal bureaucrat wants them to mean. They work together to "cut costs" by cutting care to those who are chronically ill, have genetic related diseases through no fault of their own and any other class of individuals that requires more healthcare "than the norm." Yes, "norms" have been established and if you're outside the "norms" you're on your own. Didn't used to be that way, it is now.

So while I wait to die I'm going to yell, scream and tell the truth about what's happening from the mountaintop in the loudest voice I have.

Thank you Jim for providing the platform for me to do so, and thanks DoodleBob for decloaking. Hope to see you around here more.

(Adding my good friend Laz to this post since he knows me, knows what I'm dealing with, as personally met me and will tell anyone who calls me a liar that I'm telling the truth.)

Thank you, USC. I must say, I am honored that you looped in Laz...he is one of my favorite writers, from the Obama countdown, to the "I'd hit it" threads, to his touching tribute to his cat.

It is worth reminding every citizen that Obamacare was, inter alia, a soft eugenics plan. Of course, they didn't SAY that outright. No smart villain ever fully reveals his plan. But from Ezekiel J Emanuel's ghastly "complete lives system" of starving people of healthcare, to Jonathan Gruber's cheery two-thumbs up for the "sizable positive selection" impact of abortion, to the real-world rationing we're witnessing today, little by little Sarah Palin is being vindicated.

In a twisted sort of way, the rise of the statists since Trump's election has had a positive impact on the removal of masks. In Dr. Peter Hammond's insightful essay at FrontPageMagazine.com in 2008, he correlates the rise of militancy and brutality as a subsect of society becomes a majority. We are seeing this very process unfold before our eyes, as the aircover of "caring for the little people" under which the statists operated for decades when they were a vocal few, is happily discarded for their truth of hatred, racism, and megalomania in their "majority" status. They feel there is finally safety in numbers.

Unfortunately for them, you can't put the genie back in that bottle and all those histrionics are not an increase in headcount. The majority of Americans remain in favor of free enterprise, the rule of law, family, charity, and love for your fellow man and equality rooted in God. Once THAT majority, which has been awakened by Trump's win, finds its heretofore dormant voice, I am hopeful that not only will the unforced errors about which Jim wrote and USC echoed become minimized, but we can get back to the business at hand of MAGA.
