You wouldn’t believe the @sswipes I’ve encountered when I’ve told them I’m a SAHM who home schools. They think I am beneath them.
Yeah, but I’ll bet you have kids who don’t do drugs, crap on police cars, screw anything with an orifice and all those other fruits of leftwing parenting . . . :->

It does seem there is a prejudice against SAHMs, especially home schoolers.
I would believe you. But you are awesome and bringing up the next generation to be able to think and be an individual is worth all the jerks and their comments.
My son who was homeschooled from 4th through 12th is THE MOST HIM HE COULD BE. He doesn’t follow crowds. He is respectful and quiet and polite, well rounded, and definitely knows what he wants to do and is pursuing that. I feel that not institutionalizing him helped him be the independent, unique young man he is.
