Woman Suggests All Stay-At-Home Mothers Should Be Forced To Work, Because Feminism March 24, 2017 FeminismMediaSJW18 Comments4 min read Sarrah Le Marquand, a columnist for the Daily Telegraph in Australia, thinks that all stay at home mothers should be forced to work, by law.
Only when the female half of the population is expected to hold down a job and earn money to pay the bills in the same way that men are routinely expected to do will we see things change for the better for either gender, says Sarrah in her opinion piece for Rendezvous.
While using the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Developments (OECD) as a source, Sarrah argues that by law, stay at home mothers should be forced to work.
Rather than wail about the supposed liberation in a womans right to choose to shun paid employment, we should make it a legal requirement that all parents of children of school-age or older are gainfully employed, claims Sarrah.

Women like this are just stupid, something you can’t fix.
I stayed at home because I KNOW that not doing so would hurt my child. (Yes this has been studied).
Holding a job is easier than being a stay at home mother. Of course you won’t live in expensive neighborhoods or own the latest gadgets but the trade off is not worth it.
Twice as much taxes to collect for the government to steal. Bet the government paid her to open her yap.
At least God gives free choice to select being wise or foolish. Not so with leftist feminists. You choose their way or they make you pay.
I was a stay-at -home mom until both my kids were in high school. Then I went back part time and eventually full-time and yes, it effected my career and what I earned on the salary ladder, but I wouldn’t have done it any other way if I could have done it over.
The mark of a successful economy is not whether the country has full employment, but whether households within that economy can thrive on one paycheck or not.

Should be called Femunism.
How about welfare Queens? I bet they’re exempt
Married with two sons (poor guys). Probably guilt-ridden about latchkeying them.
Well known political/feminist writer down under. Over-educated proggie going shock style.
Very camera-oriented, she wants the fame and A-list status.
Selfish, confused, socially damaging woman. Hillary supporter.
Feminists and Democrats. They don’t make ‘em like they used to.
When are you going to escape from there? Shall we set up a gofundme to cover the tolls?
Ahhh, the truth that shall not be spoken about so many working moms -- their material desires. Wonder what percentage of wives of high-income men, in a nice material lifestyle from just him, are stay at home moms...
After the parents and in-laws are deceased, I guess. I have a job from the “before-times” (with OK pay & benefits), so we can tread water while the children get through school. In the meantime, they know their grandparents and extended family.
Thankfully we rarely use toll roads (work locally).
Feminism is meant to destroy the family so the children are free game for the socialists and their indoctrination methods. That's the whole goal of feminism - to destroy the family unit.
She’s saying that women have no value unless they’re men. How messed up.
It should be pointed out that the stay-at-home mother that raises children do work. And they work might hard as well. Vacation, sick, or so-called ‘mental health’ days are not an option.
More importantly, they are literally preparing the next generation to carry the torch of freedom in America. Making sure the next generation is healthy spiritually, socially, academically, economically, and politically.
Can there be a more important role for the future of the USA?
These are the unsung heroines of this country. Time to give them the respect and admiration they deserve.
Feminism is not about motherhood. In fact, feminists envy mothers because they got something they wanted. It has always been about the competition between women. Feminist want to even the playing field because they were rejected because they did not measure up. Motherhood represents their failure and they hate motherhood for that reason.
I’m sorry to hear that.
It does seem there is a prejudice against SAHMs, especially home schoolers.
Deal?
We need a program that makes the dad's work first. For 8 years 0bama tried to turn most the the country into stay at home leaches.
