Woman Suggests All Stay-At-Home Mothers Should Be Forced To Work, Because Feminism March 24, 2017 FeminismMediaSJW18 Comments4 min read Sarrah Le Marquand, a columnist for the Daily Telegraph in Australia, thinks that all stay at home mothers should be forced to work, by law.

“Only when the female half of the population is expected to hold down a job and earn money to pay the bills in the same way that men are routinely expected to do will we see things change for the better for either gender,” says Sarrah in her opinion piece for Rendezvous.

While using the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) as a source, Sarrah argues that by law, stay at home mothers should be forced to work.

“Rather than wail about the supposed liberation in a woman’s right to choose to shun paid employment, we should make it a legal requirement that all parents of children of school-age or older are gainfully employed,” claims Sarrah.

So, so true. We can never get that time back.

Children need to bond. I didn’t like that the workers were paid very low wages and there was a huge turn over.

Seems to me it does not develop trust in a little baby.

I will always treasure those moments with my little children. Every evening my son and I, he was about 18 months, but go up to the window at about 5 o’clock and wait for papa to come home from work:-)

It was a ritual, just like when I would give him massage and a bath around 4 o’clock p.m.

These are special moments you will never have a chance to experience again.

I would believe you. But you are awesome and bringing up the next generation to be able to think and be an individual is worth all the jerks and their comments.

My son who was homeschooled from 4th through 12th is THE MOST HIM HE COULD BE. He doesn’t follow crowds. He is respectful and quiet and polite, well rounded, and definitely knows what he wants to do and is pursuing that. I feel that not institutionalizing him helped him be the independent, unique young man he is.

Really there’s nothing more important than an extended family.

They have wisdom, experience and so much love, to pass on to the little ones.

I recently lost my dad; I would do anything if he could still be here.

I’m just glad he got the chance to be around my children for a little bit.

When my son and daughter played baseball, sometimes they would talk to him when we were watching the Cubs or the White Sox play.

Gosh, it hurts to lose a parent.

TY! My kid has had a lawn biz since he was 10. He just bought his first car. He’s 15 with only a permit. LOL! He’ll probably be a millionaire by 40.

LOL! Get to work, slacker, after spending all night up with a crying baby! ;)

Who's been throwing up all over you all night, too.
