Probably the most outrageous skit they showed in the Gong Show Movie, was a guy depicting Jesus on the cross and singing, “Please Release Me.”
Yeah, I don’t think that one would get past the censors.
My 2 favorite responses after contestants were gonged: 1) I kinda’ liked that but then I like lost luggage. 2) I like that but then I like stench.
