I am kind of surprised at the number of Americans who did not know at the Brits referred to anyone on the other side of Bosphorus was considered “Asian.”

My guess is that he is a local nutjob. Local as in “from” a London suburb.

And, in the U.S. we generally wouldn't consider this a "4x4" even if is has "all wheel drive" capability.

We’re so far from Asia that we have no concept of there actually being a narrow dividing line between Europe and Asia, nor where it is.
