If VA care is so great, force every elected official, including the congressional do nothings and their families to get care there. I won’t go to the VA because I cannot get timely care and English speaking specialists. I don’t receive a subsidy, but life changes. Do you think Medicare, Medicaid recipients get the same standard.. Nope, they go to top docs.

Exactly. VA care is great in some locations and like getting 3rd world care or no care in others.
Also if veteran is forced to VA and not allowed into the new system what about dependents of the veteran? No family plan possible or how will that work?
I think veterans should have a choice of the best option for them.
