Congresswoman Stefanik is not what would pass for conservative in my neck of the woods, but good on her in this case. She appears to have given it a try rather than phoning it in like a typical tenured GOP-e hack.

(To be fair to tenured GOP-e hacks, I think the Darrell Issas of the GOP-e will eventually get a scalp… it will be for the Democrats, but they will eventually get one.)

As for Comey, I can only surmise that he's either dirty or squirrely, or a combination of both. This much can be said for him without any speculation: he is doing a great job of keeping the President and the Russians under the microscope, while Obama, the Clintons (including their Bush "relatives") and the Islamists can go back to undermining what little is left of our nation with the help of a virtual MSM blackout. "Heck of a job there, Jimmy."

She may not be a conservative in the national sense, but would be right leaning in a New York context, like Rudy Giuliani is. Stefanik probably should have started her political career in Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Michigan, where the opportunities for statewide office would be higher than in deep blue New York.
