I got off Niacin because I was turning red and itching every time I took it and taking a benedryl wasn’t helping. And truthfully, neither was the Niacin.

House, this was the VA pharmacist telling me about this “new drug”. But, usually the VA is years behind in offering new drugs. Or used to be anyway.

GailA, where do you get this K3 complex? Is it in the vitamin section of the supermarket? GNC?

tumblindice, statins come with the fine print. “with a diet of exercise and weight loss....” And no statin, and I took them all, affected my cholesterol.

I get mine from Vitacost on line, it is a full range K2 complex. Comes in different quantities, you must treat it as a blood thinner if you have surgery. https://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-ultra-vitamin-k-with-advanced-k2-complex

I had 5 different cholesterol meds, all made me very sick. It’s like OP drugs I lump them in one category and avoid like the plague. WelChol gave me gout.

I noticed Big Pharma works on LDL and Tris, but not the important one HDL. The higher it is the better. Even slow Niacin does that to me, along with hot flashes. Try some B 6 about 50 mg to start you can always up it if you think it works to 100 mg. That you can get any where.
