Complete Headline: Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz to STEP DOWN after his anti-Trump vow to hire 10,000 refugees backfired, provoked a boycott by Donald supporters and hit sales.

Howard Schultz, the current CEO of Starbucks, is weeks away from stepping down from his role at the giant coffee chain next month.

The move, which was announced in December of last year, comes after his vow to hire thousands refugees in response to President Donald Trump's first travel ban appeared to hurt customer sentiment and dent their sales.

Trump supporters have called for a boycott of the chain since January 29, when Schultz vowed to hire 10,000 refugees over five years.

Schultz in a letter to employees said the promise of the American Dream was 'being called into question' and that 'the civility and human rights we have all taken for granted for so long are under attack.'

At least half of all Daily Mail stories are fake news.

“The move, which was announced in December of last year, comes after his vow to hire thousands refugees in response to President Donald Trump’s first travel ban appeared to hurt customer sentiment and dent their sales.”

so in Dec it was already announced he would be stepping down, he made a comment which effected sales so he is stepping down?

“so in Dec it was already announced he would be stepping down, he made a comment which effected sales so he is stepping down?”

It would seem that the Daily Mail is incapable of sequencing events on a timeline.

“Now that is what I call WINNING”

Schultz is worth $3.1 billion.

Starbucks stock is down twelve cents a share since the refugee announcement.

It could be that people are still lining up to pay $5.00 for a cup of coffee.

All good, but according to the story:

The move, which was announced in December of last year, comes after his vow to hire thousands refugees in response to President Donald Trump's first travel ban ...

So his stepping down was already announced 6 weeks before the first temporary travel ban and his stupid reaction to it. While the title and the story are technically correct since they do not outright claim a cause and effect relationship, they sure are bending over backwards to imply one. The Daily Mail is usually pretty straight news (much more so than the US MSM), but here they are straying into fakery.

daily Mail always reports the stories that the MSM will not even report.

I can even remember in 2008 they were the ones who were the first reported the birth certificate issue with Buttcrack. It also helps the editor is a bud of Trump’s.

Somehow, I don’t think he’ll be in the basement with a disconnected phone and a stapler. He’ll turn up somewhere else and continue to do damage.

Here’s a bit of advice for every single liberal business owner, artist, actor, professional sports league, athlete blah, blah, blah... in this country.

If you wish to have any chance at all at receiving my valuable business...

KEEP YOUR F***IN’ STUPID MOUTH SHUT, BECAUSE I DO NOT GIVE A DAMN WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT ANYTHING!

I hope I’ve made myself clear, because I’m only going to say it once.

“daily Mail always reports the stories that the MSM will not even report.”

There is no story to report.

He is not stepping down because of the refugee announcement and Starbucks stock price has not been negatively impacted by the refugee announcement.

Tastes like burned s*** so who needs it?

All real Americans buy their coffee at Dunkin Donuts or Mickey D’s.

“the British press reports stuff the American press ignores.”

This is a non story written by a reporter who does not understand the sequencing of events and cannot read a stock price.
