I had double knee replacements 5 years ago. The only drug available were opioids. Honestly, marijuana would have helped enormously, been much safer, and reduced the need for and dosage of opioids. There is a psychological component to pain and just being able to relax and have less anxiety would have allowed me to tolerate a higher level of pain without resorting to the “big gun” opioids.

Getting off the opioids was the worst week I have ever lived in my life. I decided that it was just easier to simply stop completely than to go through that hellish “weaning”.

gee...how many more deaths from auto accidents?..or bus crashes?...or domestic violence?...or lung cancer....

people that have an agenda can pull all sorts of stats to make their side look good...
