A laptop computer containing floor plans for Trump Tower, information about the Hillary Clinton email investigation and other national security information was stolen from a Secret Service agent's vehicle in Brooklyn, police sources told the Daily News.
Authorities have been frantically searching for the laptop since it was stolen Thursday morning — and are trying to determine if the thief knew what he was taking or randomly targeted the agent’s vehicle.
NYPD cops were assisting in the investigation but had scant information on exactly what’s on the laptop, sources said.
"The Secret Service is very heavily involved and, citing national security, there's very little we have on our side," a police source said. "It's a very big deal.”
"There's data on there that's highly sensitive,” the source said. “They're scrambling like mad.”
The information on the laptop cannot be remotely erased, sources said.
Other items stolen include “sensitive” documents, an access keycard, coins, a black zippered bag with the Secret Service insignia on it and Secret Service lapel pins from various assignments — including ones involving Donald Trump, the Hillary Clinton campaign, the United Nations General Assembly and the Pope’s visit to New York, sources said.

Someone explain to me why a Secret Service agent would leave such a sensitive laptop in their vehicle in their driveway overnight? Or am I misreading something?
The NY Daily News article quotes “sources” saying the computer cannot be remotely accessed to wipe the hard drive.
It was in a bag on her MOTORCYCLE and “stolen” at 8:40 AM.
This just reeks of a Holder/Obama operation. It is F&F mid-80s IQ weaponized stupidity.
If I had super sensitive stuff, I would never leave it in a parked car while I slept somewhere else. If this is true it is very sloppy.
No kidding. This agent is sloppy. I would not trust her to walk my dog. If I had a dog.
It was not random, it was surveilled and targeted. I’d bet money on it.

The Secret Service agent that had this laptop “stolen” for his vehicle needs to be detained and questioned. Use waterboarding if necessary.

OK did not recognize the vehicle name, but article seems to say the theft was at 3AM.
That this is an inside job is almost too obvious, as if someone really wants us to think so. Why they would want us to think it was an inside job is beyond reason; they must just be incompetent.
Possibilities if inside job:
1. The laptop has something on it incriminating to Trump that the SS, or at least agent Argentieri wants leaked.
2. Ditto, but the dirt’s on Hillary, Obama, or something less obvious {Like this email from Barry, “Hey guys — anything yet from that Trump wiretap I ordered? We’ve got an election to rig and GCHQ hasn’t given us squat!”)
3. The lost laptop will provide an excuse for why something else leaked out or happened.
4. The theft will be used to claim critical material is lost forever, so someone can’t be prosecuted. If this is floated, it’s bs — a SS laptop would not have the only copy of secret data.
5. It’s a happenstance burglary, with nothing of any big value on the laptop. The SS really is that incompetent.
6. John Malkovich will use the special pins to impersonate a SS agent, sneak into Trump Tower via the key card, infiltrate the protective force, and try to assassinate someone during dinner, except Clint Eastwood will stop the bullet.
I’m guessing 1, hoping for 2, find 5 plausible, and saw 6 so long ago that we might living through a remake.
A while back in the war someone left SS info and directions to Rumsfeld’s house, etc., on DuPont Circle, to be found by some lib

As most of America slept early last Sunday morning, the Bush administration hustled and bustled to prepare for the Sunday morning talk shows – among others Colin Powell was appearing on “Face the Nation” and Donald Rumsfeld was booked on “Fox News Sunday.” Condoleezza Rice was not scheduled to appear until prime time, when she would make a star appearance on CBS’ “60 Minutes” – the last in a long line of media appearances that caused 9/11 Commissioner Richard Ben Veniste to quip that “Condi Rice has appeared everywhere but at my local Starbucks.”
Well, others in the Bush administration did, apparently, make an appearance at the local Starbucks. And as theWashington Post reports today, one of them – obviously readying himself to prep Defense Secretary Rumsfeld – left his notes on the table.
Talking points, hand-written notes on spin tactics that reveal the White House was worried about former Bush adviser Richard Clarke’s charges, and a hand-drawn map to the Secretary’s house were found by a resident of DuPont Circle, who made them available to the Center for American Progress. The name of said resident is being withheld at his request, as he fears that he may be accused on national television of being “disgruntled.”

Yes, it could be fake news or it could be damage control.
What we do know is there are traitors inside the government as well as the media.
No mention that the car was broken into, so presumably the assh*le SS agent didn’t have sense enough to lock the doors. Or, the heist was a planned inside job to destroy evidence incriminating Obama, Clinton, and Chucky Schumer!
