“according to officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity”

Fake news.

Wait a minute. Why would Trump's Justice Department charge the Russian spies when he is known to be in bed with them?

Since this happened in 2014 does that mean that Obama's Administration were the ones really in cahoots with the Russians? 8>)

Is the Washington Post now throwing the Obama under the bus?

Yes, all sarcasm.

In other words, Russia hacked everyone they could. They hacked the DNC (although everyone hacked the democrats and the released emails were leaked by insiders, not hacked by outsiders). They hacked Hillary’s server (again, everyone hacked Hillary, and the released emails were leaked by insiders, not hacked by outsiders). They hacked Yahoo. They didn’t hack President Trump or the RNC because our side had security.

So far the WP is the only source that blames the Russians. Maybe they just made it up to get the attention off of Richard Maddow’s debacle last night?

People also sometimes slip up and travel to a country that is able and willing to transfer them to the United States for prosecution.

The author must have some specific people in mind to write this.

AGREED!!

Not to mention how Maddow and that crazy David guy oughta be prosecuted, but never mind, I have been watching Sessions, don’t expect much from him...

I’m turning into a fan of Devin Nunes. Something ‘right’ about that boy.

... 500 million Yahoo user accounts ...

Why would the Russian government want that?

Of course, the CIA has now lost plausible deniability given the recent WikiLeaks...

Yahoo email asks to use your contacts. I say no and I get spam at my other non yahoo email account that I have to filter. They have been hacked multiple times. The email and the rest of their site is terrible ever since Marissa Mayer took over and looted Yahoo.

Russia has lots of pretty good hackers, but the fact that they’re Russian doesn’t necessarily mean they’re Russian “spies” or “officials”.... not every American criminal is an American “spy” or “official” (unless you’re a journalist with an Iranian/Russian/Chinese/etc. government news source).
