I wouldn’t have allowed it. I would have said: perhaps when you regain your composure we might hear from you again. And then I would have ended it. I’m glad she isn’t me because it’s always good to see the Left for who they really are.
I would have ended it by saying “Maybe we should talk to you when you are sober”.
