Robert A. Cook, P.E. cited an important dissection of the pie chart into ONLY 2 groups with coverage MANDATED by ACA. I believe that these 2 groups could be further described as:
1. Tax-Payers: 117 million working - covered by private or employer plans
2. Tax-Consumers: 193 million on government-paid “plans”
Note:
1. Tax-Consumers significantly outnumber Tax-Payers. Parasites WILL eventually kill the HOST!
2. The only problem with Socialized Medicine (the 1st step into Nationalized economy / Socialism by Stalin & Hitler & attempted by Hillary Clinton in 1993) is eventually you run out of other people’s money!
My sens is that employer, medicare, and tricare all paid for their plans with their labor or their contributions. Not their fault if the govt invested it poorly.
