What is ironic is that Monument Avenue is literally right next to VCU. Monument Avenue is one of the most awe inspiring tributes to dead white men in the USA. It goes on for blocks punctuated my truly monumental statues honoring the likes of Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, J.E.B. Stuart, Jefferson Davis and others.
