Working hard on Gershwin. I just discovered that a piano rag written by Gershwin during his teenage years was the piece that Ernie Kovacs used as background music for his comedy blackouts.

Do you know what the melody was for The Nairobi Trio’s “Solfeggio”?

I recently heard it used on a Verizon Fios commercial, and it cracked me up, remembering the Kovacs show (which was a favorite of my twisted little 7 year old mind!) LOL!
