The House of Lords has passed the Brexit bill, paving the way for the government to trigger Article 50 so the UK can leave the EU.
Peers backed down over the issues of EU residency rights and a meaningful vote on the final Brexit deal after their objections were overturned by MPs.
The bill is expected to receive Royal Assent and become law on Tuesday.
The BBC's Laura Kuenssberg said this would leave Theresa May free to push the button on withdrawal talks.
The prime minister could theoretically invoke Article 50, which formally starts the Brexit process, as early as Tuesday.

The Process. How to stretch it out and spread a lot of money around while you do it. Just announce termination of the agreement at noon on the first of April, 2017. Then let the chips fall where they may. The whole thing would cost a lot less.

Not that the Conservative Party is really conservative, but if you removed Scotland, the Cons would likely easily win majorities in England.
I say this with respect, as the Scots are a much nicer people that the English, but they are far more socialistic. They need England’s tax base to pay for their welfare state.

Depends on the oil money. If Scotland splits, England wants a cut and the Scots will not share.
