That is a large auditorium where everything used to be held before they built Bridgestone Arena. It is big and centered right downtown about 2 blocks from the Capital. I am sure there will be YUGE crowds. There was an article and reports here over the weekend that the Libs were trying to reserve a lot of tickets to protest. There is a new conservative online newspaper in TN that is going to be doing live updates Wednesday. It is also reported that PDT is going to the Hermitage (Pres Andrew Jackson’s home) before the rally. That would make sense as the Hermitage is just down the road from the airport about 3 miles or less.

Ironic....Jackson is who Trump reminds me most of. He should also visit James K Polk’s place while he is in Nashville. Polk is our greatest “unknown” President.

It’s outdated and small for today’s standards. It’s old, it’s crappy, and WHY are they not holding it at Bridgestone? He’d get the crowds, plus some. It just doesn’t make sense to me.

It’s nine miles from the airport to The Hermitage. I live about a mile from The Hermitage. Wednesday is Andrew Jackson’s 250th birthday. Normally they offer free admission on his birthday, but for Trump’s visit, it will be closed to the public on Wednesday. Those of us in the immediate area are making plans to hunker down or use the northern route through Madison if we need to get into or out of Old Hickory/Hermitage.
