President Donald Trump must provide the American people, not just the Senate Intelligence Committee, with proof of his claims that former President Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower, and if he doesn't have the proof, he needs to retract his statements, Sen. John McCain said Sunday.
"If his predecessor violated the law, President Obama violated the law, we've got a serious issue here, to say the least," McCain told CNN's "State of the Union" program, while pointing out that he himself has no reason to believe the allegations are true.

Levin has been calling out the Times in particular for dismissing Trump’s tweets as being borne from conspiracy theories when he was, in part, going off their reporting. One Times reporter said this on Twitter earlier today:

Levin told Hannity, “The media’s very confused right now… They don’t know whether to trash themselves, trash their colleagues, or what.”

He said the media should be more curious as to what really happened here instead of “mocking” Trump over his tweet.
Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper yesterday said he can deny there was a FISA wiretap court order against Trump. But for Levin, that just raises far more questions.
He concluded that there needs to be a full investigation into what happened and he again criticized the media for being “so lackadaisical and not curious” to get answers.
McCain must prove that he did not collaborate with the Communists when he did radio broadcasts for them.
