Preet Bharara says he was fired "moments ago." He reiterated that he did not resign his post as Manhattan's federal prosecutor.

Preset, you get a re-set for your career.
Make the most of it, fool.
WIN
Admin Moderator: Can you correct spelling of “Preet” in the title? Thank you.
Bye.
What did Sessions know that we don’t. I alway thought this guy was pretty good. I guess we will find out
Virtually assures him Mayor if he wants it.
Guess George Webb is right; he’s foot-dragging on prosecuting enemies of the admin that are attempting a coup.
He prosecuted Dinesh D’Souza the Obama critic and asked for two years prison time for a very minor election law violation that Democrats get a slap on the wrist for.
USA for SDNY is a very important position and PDT needs to be sure whoever is in there will carry out the prosecutorial policies of the Trump admin and the Sessions DOJ.
If this guy is as wonderful as several comments on this web-site indicate he is, hire him back. AFTER the tenure is broken. LIFERS on the federal payroll are a major part of the swampy part of the swamp, no matter where they start out.
If you want Admin Moderator to do something, you need to address you comment to him, rather than to yourself. Or just hit the “abuse” button on yourself.
One thing I’ve learned watching politics over the last 30 years is that the good guys...aren’t. If they are, you won’t see them around for very long.
Hope we learn who replaces him today.
He was asked to submit his resignation. He failed to do so, thus he was fired. You do what the boss says.
There is a distinct sucking sound emanating from the Swamp.
He should run for Governor of New York against Andrew Cuomo.
Thanks PB —
I guess I could plead that I was ignorant because I never did it before?
Again, thank you.
Rudy! Rudy!
Now Trump can have Sessions appoint him to head an investigation into the Rooshyn scandal.. or better yet, the Shadowy Gubamint.
I think Jeff Sessions can appoint his own tough prosecutor, and has no reason to go easy on Cuomo or DeBlasio.
