It’s part of the assimilation plane. Them assimilating the Germans, not the other way around. It’s like injecting yourself with plague and expecting it not to infect you out of courtesy.
But when you’ve got friends in high places, why burn them? I’ve got 2 questions: Was this terror plot genuine? If so, why something so big now?

They have no respect for Merkel or Western charity. They see anything short of brutality as weakness. Their goal is not to live in peace, but to conquer. They see it as their right because...Islam. They’re going to hit the ground running. If it works, good. If it doesn’t, they’ll whine about religious persecution and the Germans will bend over some more and the violence will work next time.
