Andrew Ostrovsky, a medical official at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which is part of HHS, tweeted late Wednesday that he would oppose the bill.
"Despite political messaging from others at [Health and Human Services]" Ostrovsky tweeted he would align with experts at outside groups such as the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatricians to oppose the bill.

My liberal gaydar just flipped .....
Gay much.
Gay with a gross beard.
Gaydar to the max
That’s a “bet your job” move...
Actually smart, now he has national exposure for his resume
If this is an appointed position, he needs to be shown door asap.
Regardless of the outcome of the bill, whether it gets further changed or not, his stance is against any change. So good bye.
Andrew Ostrovsky — You’re fired!!!
What “Bill” is this moron opposed too? Last I heard there was as yet NO legislation voted on at all. The outlines of the new plan are “out for review” which means commentary is being sought in consideration of any changes to what so far has been proposed.
Besides what difference does it make if this clown agrees or doesn’t agree?
Politicians should be the last people involved in a health care plan
>If this is an appointed position, he needs to be shown door asap.
Nah, don’t make a martyr out of him. Reassign him to taking anal temperature readings from polar bears in Alaska.
So what if he’s gay. I listened to Mark Levin, who I don’t always agree with, talking with Jim Jordan and they said this bill isn’t a market based approach. It gives tax subsidies to people who probably didn’t pay enough taxes as the subsidy will be, apparently there’s no mention of selling across state lines to create genuine competition, or TORT reform. They had a long discussion about medicaid that wasn’t positive. You can’t go to your Dr and pay cash for little things and just have insurance for catastrophic - apparently.
Maybe this isn’t all so but it’s what I heard and it didn’t sound good. I guess they’re deleting the mandates for employers - so maybe people don’t have to work multiple jobs just to get a 40 hr week.
I always made it a point to defy the Colonel's orders./s
I think this bill royally sucks too, but this fairy nice man Andrew opposes ANY changes! So people here are saying anyway.

To subsidize lousy plans. The worthless Obamacare plans I looked at were $5,000 in yearly premiums with a $5,000+ deductible. It’s catastrophic insurance by another name. The only people that like it are politicians who take the lobbyist bribes and the “insurance” industry.
Fired.
“So what if hes gay.” So you’re going to trust someone who makes stupid life style choices? He obviously can’t be trusted.
HHS OFFICIAL HUNTING FOR JOB
You’re Fired in 3, 2, 1....
