Some privacy is more equal than others in Bolshevia.

This guy has what could be termed “catholic” tastes in the genericizing of a fascist concept of Constitutional freedom. The Founders were not fascists— only the later people who brought their failed dreams of monarchy from Europe (a second chance in a more open state of pioneer US). In the same sense it was a vanity of the Washingtons and other minor landed gentry— that they wanted to be seen as something different than colonial servants to the real— that is, as real Lords of their new country, and not treated as bumpkins at Court. The whole reason for the encroaching trappings of even a whiff of monarchy (though Washington studiously berated anyone, Adams for example who tried to make him a monarch, even as he rode around NY and Philly in a coach and 4 ornate carriage)being shouted down by Ant-Federalists.
So here we are— 150 plus years later having to succumb to yet again another machination of prying police to make us “feel” safe as others in the machine weave spider webs just for their benefit. How European, and dare say how ‘papist’, a term from our past.
