JASPER, Ind. – At least one student at Jasper High School has heard enough from his LGBT classmates.
The unidentified 16-year-old posted “Straight Pride” posters at Jasper High School last week, and the hilarious notices are not going over so well with school officials, the Dubois County Herald reports.
“Celebrate being straight at JHS by not annoying the heck out of everyone about your sexual orientation!” read the flyers, posted in the school’s hallways after classes last Thursday. “It’s easy! Just come to the JHS, then you go about your day without telling everyone about how ‘different’ and ‘special’ you are!”
The straight pride posters were “brought to you by all the students that are sick of hearing about your LGBT pride,” they continued.
“Nobody cares about what you think you are,” the posters read. “If you want equality, stop shoving your ideas down our throats! We have nothing against your sexual orientation. We just don’t care!”
The fliers featured two rainbow flags, along with the message “We are taking back the rainbow.”
Principal Brian Wilson told the news site the posters were tacked up on hallway display areas throughout the school but removed before students returned for class on Friday. School officials identified the student responsible for putting them up, but Wilson refused to say whether the student will be punished for the stunt.
Greater Jasper Superintendent Tracy Lorey promised parents the notices do not represent the attitude of most students and staff at the school.
“It is our intent to provide students opportunities to express themselves in a way that helps them to be understanding of the unique qualities of all individuals,” she said. “The world is full of unique individuals (regardless of) race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. That’s the world, and it’s our job to prepare students to function within that world and to have respect for others.”
School officials said the straight pride fliers were not approved by school officials, as required.
You’re not allowed to NOT want to hear idiots boasting about their “sexual identity” every day of the week.

Gay folks ARE going to claim hate crime- They will demand that the school punish for hate crime-

This extremely brave kid takes a courageous stand, dares to tell the truth and it is laughed at as a "stunt." Why or how could they punish someone for telling the truth?

Oh really? Why are they publicly disregarding this young man’s usage of free speech? Should they not show how tolerant they are by preempting that statement with “diversity is our strength and we welcome this student’s opinion however....

Welcoming a brand new life into the world that is a unique product of both sets of genes. This is really epitome of straight pride. 2 men or 2 women together can never create such a life. Adopt, surrogate, or test tube all they want but never can the two become truly one as is meant.
The kid should be forced to bake cakes after school for the rest of the school year for any offended lollypops!

I assume that was sarcasm? If not, Jasper, Indiana is *far* from inner city, just for the record.
Yep, it was, I checked on Google Maps before posting.
I always like to target the “can’t happen here” crowd on that site that uses that rationalization to stick their kids on that big school bus every day. I don’t know the specifics of Jasper, but I suspect it’s as conservative as any town in Texas...but the people hired in it’s schools, like every other public school, come from the same batch, ‘graduating’ from our universities, with degrees in ‘education’. If it happens in Chicago, it’s just as likely to happen in Jasper...as there is no difference in the people running the operation and the teachers, and parents can go to hell since they don’t pay the salaries (the government does).

Nearly every teacher in this nation was trained by godless Marxists in Marxist-run colleges and universities. This training and worldview has seeped into every nook and cranny of every government school of the nation. SCARY!
